In his eighth match of IPL 2023 Lucknow Super Giants Against Punjab players made such mistakes in fielding, which were shocking. Livingston made a mistake like a child

Rahul could not take advantage of it, but when Marcus Stoinis got such a gift, he punished Punjab for it. He was batting fast since coming to the crease. In the 13th over, Stoinis played a high shot at long off off Rahul Chahar but was caught by Liam Livingston at the boundary.

Here the fans and players of Punjab were celebrating, there was no emotion on Livingston’s face even after taking the catch because he knew the truth. Actually Livingston had caught the catch but he could not take care of the boundary line and the catch turned into a six due to touching the feet.

Stoinis took advantage of the mistake

In the IPL mega auction, Punjab bought Livingston for Rs 11.50 crore. He has not been able to do anything special this season. Then this mistake like children surprised everyone. However, Livingston made up for it somewhat. In the very next over, he himself came to bowl and he brought some relief to the team by taking the wicket of Ayush Badoni.

At that time Stoinis’s score was 47 runs and taking advantage of this life donation, he added 25 more runs to his and the team’s score. He got out after scoring 72 runs in the 19th over. On the basis of his innings, Lucknow scored 257 runs, which became the second highest score in IPL history.
