New Delhi:After waiting for five days, Sunrisers Hyderabad settled their account with Delhi Capitals. Hyderabad defeated Delhi by 9 runs in the second encounter between the two teams struggling in IPL 2023 within 5 days. This is Hyderabad’s third win this season, while Delhi have lost their sixth match.

Sunrisers Hyderabad scored a big score after many days but their batting once again did not click completely. Young batsman Abhishek Sharma, who came in the opening, played a tremendous innings and laid the foundation for the team to reach a big score. Abhishek scored his first half-century of this season in just 25 balls.

On one side Abhishek was scoring runs but on the other side Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram and Harry Brook kept returning to the pavilion without much contribution. Despite this, when Abhishek was dismissed by Akshar Patel in the 12th over, the team’s score was 109 runs. After this, Heinrich Klaasen also took the team to 197 runs by playing a strong innings like Abhishek.

The in-form South African wicket-keeper batsman also scored his first half-century in just 25 balls. Klaasen got good support from Abdul Samad and Akil Hossain in the lower order. Mitchell Marsh played an important role in destroying the middle order of Hyderabad.
