Ahmedabad: Ishant Sharma has once again proved what experience is and what it can do. Ishant, one of India’s most experienced fast bowlers, snatched victory from defending champions Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023 on Tuesday. While it seemed that Gujarat would easily win the match, this team lost by five runs as Ishant did not allow Gujarat to score 12 runs in the last over.

Vijay Shankar hunted

Ishant took two wickets for 23 runs in four overs in this match.

Delhi did not give Ishant a chance in the first five matches this year. This season he got a chance to play his first match against Kolkata Knight Riders and took two wickets in his name. He was successful in taking one wicket each in the two matches played against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Then he got a chance against Gujarat as well and he made his team win.
