Gave strong score to the team

Kohli and Duplessis had given the team a steady start and were batting well on the difficult Kotla pitch. But both these batsmen were not able to score runs very fast. Duplessi was out on a total score of 82, while Kohli was out on the last ball of the 16th over. When Kohli was out, the team’s score was 137 runs. From here again Mahipal showed speed.

He scored the first half-century of his IPL career which came off 26 balls. If Mahipal did not score fast runs in the end, then the Bangalore team would not have been able to score a big score. Thanks to Mahipal’s innings, Bangalore has scored a strong score in terms of this difficult pitch.

First fifty after five years

Mahipal made his IPL debut in 2018 from Rajasthan Royals. But he could not play continuously in this team. In 2022, Mahipal was joined by Bangalore and this season he is continuously playing for this team. The half-century he has scored against Delhi is his first half-century after four years of his debut. Although he has been in IPL since 2016 and this year he was bought by Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals).

In 2016, India’s Under-19 team played the final of the World Cup in which it lost to the West Indies. There were players like Rishabh Pant and Ishan Kishan in this team. Mahipal was also there in this team. But he did not get many opportunities in IPL.
