New Delhi. Rohit Sharma did not open against Chennai Super Kings. He sent Cameron Green in his place to open the Mumbai Indians innings with Ishan Kishan. He sacrificed his place for the team, but Green overturned his sacrifice in 4 balls. Mumbai made a fast start in the first over on the balls of Deepak Chahar.
Green and Ishan both hit a four each. In the very first over, 10 runs were added to Mumbai’s account, after which Rohit’s decision looked correct, but got green out in the very next over. Rohit wanted a strong start, but Green overturned both his strategy and sacrifice.

On the 5th ball of the second over, Tushar Deshpande bowled Green. Mumbai’s innings faltered after Green returned to the pavilion and then on the second ball of the very next over, Ishan Kishan was also dismissed by Deepak Chahar after scoring 7 runs. Mumbai lost both their openers in 14 balls.
