Kolkata: Every team needs a good start in cricket. The batting team thinks that they should score fast in the beginning, while the bowling team wants to get wickets in the beginning. In IPL-2023, Punjab Kings face Kolkata Knight Riders on Tuesday. Punjab could not make a good start in this match and the reason for this was Rahmanullah Gurbaz, the wicketkeeper of Kolkata.

Gurbaj caught such a catch that the spectators kept watching. His catch sent Prabhsimran Singh of Punjab to the pavilion and here the Punjab team faltered. Prabhsimran was trying to play fast and if he had survived, he would have thrashed the Kolkata bowlers fiercely.

Amazing catch caught like this

Prabhasimran was dismissed on the last ball of the second over. Harshit Rana was throwing this over. Prabhsimran Singh tried to hit the ball which hit Rana’s leg stump but the ball took the edge of his bat and went back. Seeing the ball on the leg stump, Gurbaj was also going towards the leg stump, but when the ball came outside the off stump with the edge of the bat, Gurbaj jumped and tried to catch it.

Gurbaj, however, could not catch the ball in the first attempt and the ball touched his gloves and went out. But Gurbaj ran a short distance, then dived and caught the ball. With this Prabhsimran Singh got out. He scored 12 runs in eight balls with the help of three fours.

Jitesh also caught the catch

Gurbaj again caught another good catch. On the third ball of the 13th over, Varun Chakraborty sent Punjab’s stormy batsman Jitesh Sharma to the pavilion, but Gurbaj’s excellent wicketkeeping was the reason for this. Jitesh tried to cut the ball in the line of Varun’s off stump but the ball took the outside edge of his bat and Gurbaj took a sharp catch. Jitesh scored 21 runs off 18 balls. He hit two sixes in his innings.
