New Delhi: Everyone saw a sample of what Suryakumar Yadav does when he is in color at the Wankhede ground in Mumbai on the evening of 9th May. A storm named Surya destroyed Royal Challengers Bangalore with its slaps. His target of 200 was dwarfed so much that Mumbai Indians did not even need to play 20 overs. But, even after doing so much, Suryakumar Yadav does not deserve the award which was given to him.

The way Suryakumar came after two setbacks in the powerplay itself, handled the innings of Mumbai Indians, accelerated it and then left it after reaching the end, after that the number of awards given to him are less. But, there was still an award which he should not have got after the match.

Why the award to Surya which he does not deserve?

Even after hitting 83 runs in 35 balls, someone else had more right on that award than him. That award was given to Surya, it was wrong and injustice was done by not getting the one who deserved it. Now this happened by mistake or how it is not known at the moment. But, this has happened after the match between Mumbai and Bangalore ended.

Now you must be thinking that what is that award, which someone else should have got instead of Surya. So let us tell you that this award is Rupay on the Go 4s Award, which is usually given to the player who hits the most fours in the match. But Surya did not do this at all. Yes, he definitely hit more sixes but Glenn Maxwell is ahead of him in terms of fours.

Is there scope to rectify this mistake?

Maxwell hit 8 fours in the match, while only 7 fours came out of Surya’s bat. Then tell why Suryakumar Yadav became the deserving of the award. In the photo shared by Mumbai Indians of Surya taking the award after the match, he had this award in rupees.

The question is, if there was a mistake, then who did it? Those who made the award list or those who read it on camera. The question is also that if this happens by mistake, will this award be given to Glenn Maxwell? Till now there is no information about getting answers to all these questions.
