Mumbai: Chasing a target of 200 runs in T20 is never easy on any ground. Seeing such a big score, the teams already come under pressure. In IPL-2023, Mumbai Indians faced Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday. Bangalore scored 199 runs and gave Mumbai a target of 200 runs, which they achieved in 16.3 overs. Mumbai did this work easily because its most reliable batsman Suryakumar Yadav showed his batting skills. Mumbai was not worried anyway when Suryakumar was there.
Mumbai achieved this goal when it lost its big batsmen early. Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma were sent to the pavilion by Vanindu Hasaranga in the fifth over. Here the Mumbai team was under pressure but Suryakumar Yadav ended this pressure. He did the same thing for which he is known. Suryakumar scored an inning of 83 runs in 35 balls with the help of seven fours and eight sixes in this match.

Had a blast with Nehal
However, Suryakumar Yadav did not do this work alone. Young batsman Nehal Wadhera supported him in this. Suryakumar fed Nehal with him and shared a century partnership with him. Both of them shared a 140-run partnership facing just 66 balls. However, Surya scored more runs or say double runs in this. He scored 82 runs while Nehal scored 46 runs. During this, Suryakumar also completed his 100 sixes in IPL and also 3000 runs. Now he has 3020 runs in 134 matches. And there are total 102 sixes.
Suryakumar made the innings convincing Nehal and wrote the story of Mumbai’s victory. Suryakumar beat every bowler of Bangalore fiercely. He completed his half-century in 26 balls and this is his fourth half-century of this season. Suryakumar’s wicket fell on the fourth ball of 16 overs. He was dismissed by Vijay Kumar Vishak. But before getting out, this batsman had made his name. He was dismissed for the team’s total score of 192 runs. Mumbai needed just eight runs to win from here while he had 26 balls.

Surya hai toh kya tension
Suryakumar is the number-1 batsman of T20. The team never has any tension during his stay. He is such a batsman that the bigger the target, the better he will play in that match. Seven times this season, a target of 200 or more has been chased, out of which Mumbai has chased three times and Suryakumar has batted in all three matches. This season, Mumbai first chased a target of more than 200 against Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan had given a target of 213 runs and Mumbai had achieved this three balls earlier. Suryakumar scored an inning of 55 runs in 29 balls in this match.
After this, Punjab Kings scored 214 runs losing three wickets against Mumbai in their home. Mumbai had achieved this target in 18.5 overs. Suryakumar Yadav’s bat was also in this match and he scored 66 runs in 31 balls. That is, Suryakumar likes to chase the figure of 200 and he shows his true style.
