New Delhi: Virat Kohli This season has been in constant discussion, which is not a new thing. Due to his performance, he is in headlines, but this time due to the issues inside and outside the field, he is being discussed everyday. In this, confrontation with Lucknow Super Giants’ mentor Gautam Gambhir and fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq has also become the reason. Even now this war is going on even on social media. Meanwhile, Kohli has become the subject of another post discussion.

Kohli’s team Royal Challengers Bangalore had to face a crushing defeat against Mumbai Indians on Tuesday, 9th May. Kohli could not do anything special in this match and was dismissed in the first over itself. Before this match there was discussion about Kohli’s strike rate and this time he got out after scoring only 1 run.

‘Competition with yourself’

In such a situation, the fans kept criticizing him on social media and also making fun of him that he is fighting with the players on the field but he himself is not able to perform well. Amidst all these criticisms, Kohli made a tweet on Wednesday, in which he posted his photo. Kohli wrote with this photo, Competition is only in your mind. Basically you are competing with yourself.

Twitter users gave different reactions to this post. Someone linked it to Naveen-ul-Haq’s Instagram post, which was put up by the Afghan spinner during the Bangalore-Mumbai match.

Kohli-Naveen’s social media ‘cold war’

Kohli and Naveen have been at loggerheads on social media ever since the clash in the match between Lucknow and Bangalore on May 1. During Bangalore’s defeat against Delhi Capitals, Naveen posted a photo with Gautam Gambhir, which was being seen as a target on Kohli.

After this, Kohli also posted two photos during the match of Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. Lucknow was defeated in this match and Kohli’s post was being considered as Naveen’s reply.
