Chennai: Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Rinku Singh and captain Nitish Rana once again pulled the team out of a difficult situation and led the team to victory. With the brilliant innings of Rinku Singh (54) and captain Nitish Rana (57 not out), Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Chennai Super Kings by six wickets at their home. Had Chennai won this match, it would have booked the playoff ticket, but now its wait has increased. Chennai batsmen did not play much in this match and this team could only score 144 runs in 20 overs losing six wickets. Kolkata achieved this target in 18.3 overs.
