Ahmedabad: There were some such matches in IPL-2023 which surprised everyone. There were moments that can never be forgotten. Rinku Singh did the same thing on April 9. In the match played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Rinku won his team by hitting five consecutive sixes in the last over bowled by Gujarat Titans bowler Yash Dayal. Rinku had become a hero in this match but Yash’s condition had worsened. Now Yash left that match behind and returned on Monday.
When Rinku hit Yash for five consecutive sixes, the left-arm bowler’s condition worsened. He had even become ill. His weight had also reduced by seven to eight kilos. For this reason, he was dropped from the team for a long time. The team was with him but he was not getting a chance to play. Yash finally left that accident behind and impressed by returning to the field.

It took time for Yash to recover from his accident on April 9, but he has also made a good comeback. Coming back against Hyderabad, the bowler conceded just 31 runs in four overs and also took a wicket. He took this wicket of Hyderabad opener Abhishek Sharma. He got Abhishek caught by wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha in his very first over.
Yash proved to be very expensive in the first two overs. He gave away 18 runs in the first two overs. But in his last two overs, Yash came back and gave away 13 runs. This performance must have given Yash the lost confidence which was shattered after being hit for five sixes. Gujarat will also hope that Yash does not miss that match again and continues to do well this season.
